Project Description

etc Design have a long standing relationship working with Ricoh Products Ltd throughout the buildings at their Telford site, and the latest development of a Customer Briefing Centre is no exception.  Situated in the corner of one of their existing buildings the development converts a former staff changing area into a facility for sales and marketing of their high end printers.  The accommodation incorporates a large waiting/socialising area, complete with bar, a large meeting room with movable acoustically separating dividing wall to create flexible meeting areas for multiple clients as well as smaller meeting areas and all ancillary sanitary & catering facilities to service the area.  External modifications were also made to update the area, with a long metal canopy removed, and a new smaller entrance canopy installed, creating a sense of openness and reducing the industrial feel at the approach,

By working closely with the client and visiting a number of their other sites we were able to develop a robust design brief to integrate their requirements with their developing corporate image to create a business environment with a playful character.  Once on site we worked closely with the contractor to ensure the design intent was carried through and detailing was to a high standard to convey the feeling of quality needed in this environment.
