Project Description
etc Architects were commissioned by Elysian Care Ltd to design a 'state of the art' Nursing home on the site of the previous derelict Wood Hayes Public House in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, which suffered from several anti-social issues. The nursing home facility was designed to help provide the highest standard of care to be found in the Wolverhampton area, providing 69 single bedrooms complete with en-suite facilities over 3 floors, all of which achieved the minimum national care standards. Ancillary accommodation included assisted bathrooms, nurse stations, drug stores, lounge and dining rooms, catering and cleaning areas together with office facilities and landscaped communal garden areas.
